Susan Taing is the founder and CEO of Bhold, a 3D printing and design house that rapidly prototypes and creates beautiful and highly functional designs, all beta tested by real users.

Susan is a designer and maker based in New York with experience spanning creative, tech and manufacturing. Prior to bhold, she spent 7 years at Google in Product Marketing and has experience with manufacturing through the family business. Susan studied Mathematics and Operations Research at MIT and Management Science and Engineering at Stanford.

She's worked at the intersection of technology and creative her entire life and loves exploring the interaction between art and science, of aesthetics and practicality, of relevance in our daily lives and timelessness.

In the span of one year she’s led bhold to strong recognition from both the maker and design communities: invitation as one of 100 selected makers to the White House Maker Faire, Editor’s Choice award from MAKE, showcase and residence at Museum of Arts and Design, featured booth at WantedDesign, Product Design Showcase at 3D Printshow, press recognition from The New York Times, ELLE, Real Simple and Cool Hunting.
